Demi Moore Twitter Name Changed From @mrskutcher to @justdemi
Demi Moore has finally changed her Twitter name; dropping her previous name @mrskutcher to replace it with @justdemi.
The change has been a long time coming with many fans commenting over the past months on why the actress had not changed her Twitter name following her high profile divorce with husband Ashton Kutcher. However, on Thursday Moore finally made the change that so many of her fans had been calling for.
Moore and Kutcher were some of the most active celebrity tweeters while together, but Moore pretty much abandoned her social networking account following her heartbreak and eventual divorce from Two and a Half Men actor Kutcher.
Their marriage was confirmed as over in November, and for months after that fans were continually urging Moore to change her account name to drop the reference to her ex-husband. In April Moore asked her followers to suggest some new names that she could change it to.
CNN's Piers Morgan even weighed in on the debate, comically suggesting she change the name to @mrsmorgan. Moore obviously opted against such a move.
Moore had commented on Thursday that finding a new name had been difficult, as so many popular names had already been taken on the social networking site. The 49-year-old actress said it was "so hard finding a name that was fun somewhat playful and available."
However, it seems @justdemi ticked all the boxes, and her choice seems to have delighted her 5 million Twitter followers, who are happy to have the actress back and ready to connect with them.
