'Avengers 2: Age of Ultron' Trailer: Leaked Comic-Con Title Teaser From Joss Whedon VIDEO
Marvel fans that lamented missing The Avengers: Age of Ultron title trailer at last summer’s Comic Con need despair no more.
The once-exclusive clip has finally landed online, momentarily shattering Marvel’s cone of silence. After a brief forward showing the cast of 2012’s The Avengers and a few words regarding the importance of Comic-Con, Joss Whedon takes the stage at the end of the Marvel panel.
“I have nothing to say, I just have one thing to add,” the sci-fi director said.
Soon the disembodied voices of The Avengers begin to set the stage for the reformation of the superhero collective.
“I don’t play well with others,” says Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) as part of Iron Man’s iconic red and gold suit shows on the screen
“You here with a mission sir, trying to get me back in the world?” asks Steve Rodgers (Chris Evans) while the Iron Man suit begins to distort.
“After all this time why return now?” questions the Thor (Chris Hemsworth) while Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) can be heard describing the team as a time bomb.
“They’ll come back because we’ll need them to,” says Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) as an image of the united superheroes reflects in a set of glowing eyes.
Soon the video zooms out and, what was once Iron Man’s mask, is now distorted into the new head of Ultron.
Viewers can see the Avengers assemble once more during the summer of 2015.
