Miley Cyrus Drugs: 'Wrecking Ball' Singer Endorses Weed and MDMA But Thinks Cocaine Is 'Gross' [VIDEO]
In new outtakes from Miley Cyrus' interview for her Rolling Stone cover story, it was revealed that she loves weed and M.D.M.A but thinks cocaine is "gross."
The 20-year-old singer wasn't coy about discussing recreational drug use and also spoke to the music magazine about her likes and dislikes when it came to types of chemical substances. She championed weed saying that it was "the best drug on earth," especially when compared with cocaine. Cyrus also put in a good word for MDMA aka Molly while dismissing cocaine.
"Hollywood is a coke town, but weed is so much better. And Molly, too. Those are happy drugs -- social drugs. They make you want to be with friends. You're out in the open. You're not in a bathroom."
While she put weed and MDMA on the top of her list, she also made sure to emphasize her dislike of cocaine: "I really don't like coke. It's so gross and so dark. It's like, what are you, from the '90s? Ew."
Cyrus also went on to speak about hallucinations and the kinds of experiences she has had on drugs. "One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon," she said in the interview.
In the Rolling Stone interview, the singer-songwriter also speaks about her video for Wrecking Ball and how it might be perceived. She compared the video, which has been directed by Terry Richardson, to Sinead O'Connor's somber video for Nothing Compares to You.
She also suggested that the video would go down in music history.
"I think people are going to hate it; they're going to see my a** and be like, 'Oh my God, I can't believe she did that,'" she said. "And then when we get to the bridge, they're gonna have a little tear and be like, 'F--k you!' I think it will be one of those iconic videos, too. I think it's something that people are not gonna forget. Hopefully an artist 30 years from now will be like, 'Yo, you remember that Miley Cyrus video? We gotta do something like that.'"
