New rumors have sparked that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got secretly married after the actress was spotting wearing a new wedding band.

Radar Online reported that Jolie was photographed wearing the new ring on her ring finger while shopping in Bondi Beach, Australia, on Sunday, Sept. 29.

The entertainment website noted that the Maleficient actress has been wearing her usual gold band, which was once the wedding ring of Pitt's great-grandmother, on her left finger since April. The ring has a less flashy gem than the $250,000 diamond engagement he gave her in 2012, and is said to symbolize their "impending marriage."

In recent photos, the second band is much thicker than Pitt's great-grandmother's ring. This is reportedly the first time Jolie has been pictured wearing the ring.

In February, the couple reportedly acquired a marriage license that required them to wed in 90 days.

Meanwhile, Jolie has been keeping busy and is currently in Australia to shoot her new film, Unbroken. The film is based on the best-selling book by Laura Hillenbrand, which tells the story of Olympian and war hero Louis Zamperini.

The New York Times bestseller is about Zamperini and two other crewmen who survived in a raft for 47 days after a World War II plane crash, only to be caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp.

"This great news confirms NSW's international status as Australia's premier location for large-scale film production and demonstrates the world-class standards of our film production industry," NSW deputy premier Andrew Stoner said.
