Kris Jenner's secret sister Karen Houghton revealed the real reason Kris and husband Bruce Jenner have been living part for months.

She said in a recent interview the couple are indeed separated and added a bombshell claim--Bruce is seeking legal advice about their split.

"[Kris and Bruce] are separated," Houghton told InTouch, adding Bruce has "sought out a lawyer."

Houghton said the couple, despite their split, still spend time together on occasion -- and she is hoping for the best for the reality stars.

"[Kris and Bruce] still do things together," Houghton revealed. "Their relationship goes back and forth. I would love to see them get back together."

Houghton shared another startling revelation about her famous sister--that when she consumes too much alcohol she gets "flirty" with her daughters' partners.

"I've heard she flirts with Scott [Disick, Kourtney's boyfriend] and Lamar [Odom, Khloé's husband] when she's drunk," she revealed.

Houghton described Kris' personality as "generous and giving" but said at times, she can be "crazy and controlling."

"She sent down a Mercedes for Valentine's Day. I went out front, and there was a big bow on it," Houghton said of the generous gifts. "She also furnished my whole house [in 2009]. A truck came down with $50,000 worth of furniture."

An insider confirmed the gift giving to InTouch citing the deed was performed in a bid to keep Houghton silent about spilling secrets about the Kardashians and Jenners.

Houghton "knows where all the bodies are buried," said the source. "Her talking is Kris' worst nightmare."

Details about Kris' disdain for Houghton were revealed in a September issue of Star by a family insider.

A source with knowledge of the family situation said Kris is embarrassed by Houghton and her history of being linked to abusive men with criminal histories.

"Kris is so over the top when it comes to being image- conscious," the family insider told Star.

Kris told Access Hollywood in June that Bruce was living alone in their Malibu vacation home. She said their main Calabasas home "does get a little congested."

"It's a wonderful idea. It's amazing to have a little bit of space," she said at the time.

Radar Online reported on Sept. 1 that the Jenners have had a "loveless" marriage for quite some time.

"They've had problems for a long time and have been separated for months," a source close to the couple said. "They haven't slept together in years. It's basically a business relationship at this point. Their marriage is over."

Bruce has been living in Malibu for several months because "he is sick of the Kardashian machine and Kris' antics," added the insider.
