New stills featuring Katniss, Peeta, Haymitch, and Johanna Mason in scenes from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire were revealed on Oct. 2 via the movie's official website.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire cast also graces the cover of Entertainment Weekly-- offering an exclusive preview of the film -- and has put collector's covers up for sale.

The tickets for the the Nov. 22 release went on sale on Oct. 1. The advance ticket sales are already shooting through the roof, according to reports. Presales for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire made up for 70 percent of online ticket broker Fandango's business on Oct. 1, outselling current releases by an 8-1 margin.

Movietickets.com also reported a similar demand for tickets, with Catching Fire accounting for 52% of its total sales on Oct 2.

The film has broken the record for pre-sales of all previous wide releases, 50 days before the release date.

The sequel stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jonesm, and Willow Shields.

The film follows from where the first in the series (The Hunger Games) left off. After winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss (Lawrence) and fellow winner Peeta (Hutcherson) return home to District 12. But shortly after returning home, they must leave again to embark on the Victory Tour.

The film has been directed by Francis Lawrence and is an adaptation of the second in Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy.

Last month it was reported that Julianna Moore will be joining the cast of the third and fourth parts -- Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1& 2.
