'Love & Hip- Hop Atlanta' Star K Michelle & Lance Stephenson Split, 'VSOP' Singer Confirms Breakup Rumors
Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star K Michelle revealed on Tuesday she is no longer dating NBA player Lance Stephenson.
Michelle tweeted, "I'm single. I'll explain later. I have to do what's best for me" and then responded to comments from followers with a message explaining the reason for the split.
"If it doesn't make you smile, know when to walk away," she wrote. "There's only so much a heart can take. No one deserves to be lied to and cheated [to]."
Stephenson is a shooting guard for the Indiana Pacers. He competed in the Eastern Conference Finals during the last NBA season. Michelle threw him a birthday party at a New York City nightclub in September and the pair was also spotted at hotspot W.I. P. in Tribeca.

Michelle went public with their relationship on July 24 while appearing on The Wendy Williams Show. She shared how they met in another interview.
Michelle said while watching the 2013 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs game, she noticed Stephenson was dominating her ex-boyfriend J. R. Smith, who plays for the New York Knicks. They began talking in June after they followed each other on more than one social media website.
"Then one day in front of everybody, he just gave me his phone number on Vine. I said, 'What are you doing? Do you know my fans will call you?'" she said in a radio interview in August. "He was like, 'I ain't care. I was trying to get to you.' So that was it. I let him make his move and he did. I didn't know if we would ever talk or anything like that and he said he had been looking at me for a while."
