Beyonce, Blue Ivy "Talked" During Labor in 'Marie Claire'; Grandparents PHOTOS Tribute
Beyonce covers the November issues of Marie Claire Australia and she explains of an instant connection she had with her daughter, Blue Ivy.
Though giving birth is no easy task for any woman, Beyonce revealed that she had some help throughout the labor process from her one-year-old daughter, whom she talked with to ease her pains.
"We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication," Beyonce told the magazine.
"I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door," she said. "And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn't think about my own pain."
The Grown Woman singer admitted that she felt maternal around eight months, but revealed her real motherhood moments occurred when she first saw the baby.
"I thought I couldn't become any more until I saw the baby ... But it happened during my labor because I had a very strong connection with my child," she said.
Meanwhile, Beyonce recently paid a tribute to her late grandparents who died before the singer was born.
On Thursday, she took to her Instagram to post two pictures of her grandmother, Agnez Dereon and grandfather, Lumis Albert Beyince.
She even uploaded the photos to her Tumblr account also, captioning the picture 'My grandfather' and 'My grandmother' followed by a heart icon.
The couple, who were French-speaking Louisiana Creoles, moved to Galvaston, Texas where they raised, Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles and Tina's brother, The Daily Mail noted.
Agnez is the inspiration behind Beyonce and Tina's clothing line "House of Dereon," and Beyonce's first name is a tribute to the family name, Beyince.
