Kaley Cuoco admitted to Entertainment Tonight, in an interview that aired Sept. 30, she knows "it seems a little crazy" for her to get engaged to tennis player Ryan Sweeting after only three months of dating.

The Big Bang Theory star explained it works for them and she knew right away that he was "The One."

"From day one I just knew immediately," she said. "It's been magic. We have all the same friends and grew up with the same people we just never met. I know it seems a little crazy on paper but it works for us."

It's not clear if the couple has set a wedding date yet, but she did reveal how he popped the question.

"He actually started a little fight with me and threw me off. Yeah... And I got a little...I was like, 'oh my gosh things aren't great' and then he surprised me at the end of the night," she explained. "He had faith enough to know that I wouldn't really think something bad was going on and he just popped the ring out. It was amazing."

Sweeting spent $65,000 on Cuoco's 2.5 carat square-cut diamond ring, E! News reported.

The actress was first spotted wearing the rock on Sept. 25 in Los Angeles while on the set of her new film, The Wedding Ringer, according to Daily Star. It was unknown at the time if she was sporting the ring for her role in the film, but rumors of her engagement began anyways. She and Sweeting confirmed the news to Us Weekly the next day.

Rumors about the couple dating started the first weekend in August when they were spotted out in public and at each other's sporting events (she went to his tennis match and he went to her horse ranch to watch her equestrian skills). They made their first red carpet appearance together at the 2013 Emmy Awards, just days before he popped the question.
