TV anchor Jane McGarry was reportedly arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. McGarry, 56, has been a long time anchor for KXAS-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth. According to Dallas Morning News, McGarry was arrested driving her Porsche when she first failed to signal a lane change. Police pulled her over and arrested her when they realized that she had been driving while intoxicated.

A DPS repot said McGarry swayed, had bloodshot, droopy eyes, and "used a loud tone of voice when talking." She reportedly failed several sobriety tests as well, including the "one-leg stand" and reciting the alphabet.

The report says McGarry admitted to drinking three glasses of wine and refused a breathalyzer test. A blood sample was taken after she refused. The results have not been revealed yet.

According to the Star-Telegram, KXAS-TV's vice president of programming Brian Hocker said: "NBC 5 station management is looking into the matter this evening and has no further comment."

McGarry has no prior DWI arrests and no previous arrests or convictions. She was named "Personality of the Year" four times by the American Women in Radio and Television. She also won the "Gracie" award by the same organization, which goes to the best woman anchor in the country.
