Azealia Banks was forced to cut her performance short on Saturday night in Melbourne, Australia after a fan threw a bottle at her on stage.

Banks was performing her hit-song, "ATM Jam" at the city's Listen Out Festival when an audience member hit her with a can after only singing for 90 seconds.

The 22-year-old Harlem rapper walked off the stage in anger after she was hit.

A representative from Banks' camp released a statement on behalf of the singer reading, "Azealia Banks was forced to cut her set short last night at the Listen Out Festival in Melbourne on 5th October 2013. This was as a result of a member of the audience throwing a full can on beer at her on stage. The incident made Azealia and her stage crew feel unsafe. Banks would like to apologize to those fans in the audience whose experience was affected by the behavior of one individual."

Banks then took to her Twitter to tell fans what went down. Watch footage from the incident below.
