Liam Payne Robbed of Underwear, One Direction Singer Twitter Reveals 'Butt Naked' Incident [VIDEO]
One Direction's Liam Payne had his underwear stolen in Sydney after the band performed earlier in the day, he revealed via Twitter on Oct. 6
The band is currently in Australia performing as part of their Take Me Home world tour. After putting on a show with the rest of 1D -- Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson -- at Sydney's Allphones Arena, Payne was robbed of his undergarments back at his hotel, which he then talked about on his social media account.
The United Kingdom native was left bewildered when he awoke to discover someone was trying to force entry into his room while he slept undressed in his bed.
"Strangest way I've ever been woken up, When ur in bed butt naked an sum1 is trying to force open your balcony this is gunna be a strange day" he wrote on Twitter. "So happy I woke up cuz that s**t would have been so unfair."
After Payne woke up, he realized his boxer shorts were missing. When he could not find them he took to Twitter and declared that the disappearance meant they were taken from his room.
"Hmmm somebody stole my boxers I'm so embarrassed" he revealed. "So how this happened... I went in the sea in those hotel staff put them outside to dry sum1 climbed on and stole them just to set the scene."
Payne did not take the incident too seriously, however, and joked about whose underwear he would like to steal if given the chance.
"#breakIntoSomeonesHouseAndStealThereUnderwearDay right I'm off to scarlett johansson's house (sic)" he tweeted.
One Direction's new album, Midnight Memories, is available for pre-purchase ahead of its Nov. 25 release in stores. The record's complete tracklist, shown in the video below, was released in September.
