Nicole Kidman said she is ready to take on Robert Pattinson's hardcore Twilight fans when she begins filming with him later this year.

The Australian beauty revealed her inner tough side to E! on Friday after she was being honored by Variety. (She was recognized for her work in human rights with the United Nations.)

When asked if she is a fan of Pattinson and if she's seen the Twilight films, the mother-of-two confessed, "I've seen the Twilight movies. I haven't read the books though."

Kidman said she has met Pattinson in the past and when she was warned to get ready to be confronted by Twilight fans --"they're hardcore," E!'s host told Kidman--she said she's ready.

"It's ok. I'll be ready. I think they will have a tough time finding us in Morocco, won't they?" Kidman said. (Watch Nicole Kidman talk Robert Pattinson and Twilight films here.)

Kidman is finalizing a deal to film Queen of the Desert with Pattinson in Morocco later this year. She will possibly sign on to the project to replace her BFF Naomi Watts, who was originally slated to film opposite the British hunk. Kidman revealed she has yet to sign the dotted line to begin filming.

"It's not all signed, sealed and delivered," she told E!. "But...it's certainly in rapid sort of motion."

Queen of the Desert follows the real-life story of Gertrude Bell, an English writer, avid traveler and archaeologist -turned spy. Her connections and travels helped influence several political policies in Britain in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Pattinson will play a British army officer.

Jude Law was slated to be in the movie but also dropped out of the project to play the male lead. He was replaced earlier this by James Franco, according to E!
