NBC's The Voice season 3 winner Cassadee Pope believes that when her coach Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert start a family, they will be great parents.

"Blake would be a great dad. I think he'd make sure his priorities were in line as far as being a dad, his career and having fun," Pope told Life & Style. "That little guy or girl would be very tough -- especially with Blake and Miranda as parents."

"They'd be self-sufficient," she added. "I'd be excited if that ever happened. The kid would turn out to be awesome."

Pope is confident that Shelton would make a great father because he demonstrated his caring side throughout their mentoring process during season 3 of The Voice. The country crooner has also stayed in touch with her this year to see how she is doing since she won the competition last year.

"He texts me. He makes sure everything is running smoothly and he's very nurturing like he was on the show," she shared. "He just makes sure that I'm doing well. He's awesome."

A source told OK! in May that Lambert would like to begin starting a family as soon their schedules allow it.

"Miranda has been super busy touring - and Blake's got his own three-month tour starting in July - but after this summer she says she wants to slow down and focus on having a baby," the insider reportedly told OK! magazine!.

The Voice mentor has expressed his desires to become a father, according to the insider.

"Blake says he's ready too. Actually, if it were up to him, they'd already have [a kid] running around," the source revealed.

After Pope won season 3 thanks to Shelton, his country act, 16-year-old Danielle Bradbery won season 4. When she did she was the youngest winner in the show's history. Shelton has also won season 2 with Jermaine Paul. Adam Levine's contestant, Javier Colon, won season 1.
