'50 Shades of Grey' Movie Cast: Dakota Johnson Not Scared Of Sexy Task As Anastasia Steele But Wants Normalcy In Life [NEWS]
After being cast in the groundbreaking role of Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey, Dakota Johnson is still trying to maintain a sense of normalcy in her daily life.
While conducting an interview with OMG! Insider on Oct. 8, the actress' mother, Melanie Griffith, stated that her daughter was adamant about staying grounded amid the Fifty Shades frenzy.
"I mean it's all very - the only thing she said was, 'Please just make me do the dishes when I go home. I want everything to stay really normal. I mean, she's really got her head on her shoulders. It's really nice," she said.
The legendary Griffith also addressed the sauciness of the Ana role, explaining that Johnson isn't the type type to be easily intimidated by such a daunting task.
"She's not the type to get scared. She has never been that way. When she was two she was not scared. So, she knows what she's doing and she's really clear and really happy and it's just - it's a joy to see her [right now]," added Griffith.
The Fifty Shades of Grey movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on Aug. 1, 2014. For more info on its happenings, be sure to keep checking back with Enstars.
