Liam Hemsworth & Eiza Gonzalez Relationship Getting Serious? She Defends Herself Via Twitter [PHOTOS]
Liam Hemsworth found a new love interest in 23-year-old Eiza Gonzalez and was spotted kissing her only days after ending 14-month engagement to Miley Cyrus back in September, but is the Hunger Games: Catching Fire star already getting serious with the Mexican model/actress?
A source told OK! magazine, in its Oct. 7 issue that the actor, 23, is weary of jumping into another long relationship so soon after his split from Cyrus, 20. His team also wants him to direct him focus on his career -- Hemsworth is filming Cut Bank and the next two Hunger Games films, Mockingjay - Part 1 and Mockingjay - Part 2. Gonzalez recently got out of a relationship herself; she was dating businessman Pepe Diaz.
"Eiza seems like a nice girl. I'm sure the sex is great. But I can't imagine Liam moving from one long relationship to another," a friend of Hemsworth's told the magazine. "His handlers want him to focus on his career and play the field as long as possible. It will help his box-office cred to be an available hunk."
Hemsworth and Gonzalez have not publicly commented on the status of their relationship but she took to Twitter on Tuesday to relay a message about false and negative rumors. Gonzalez uploaded an image to the social media website that read, "When people don't know what going on in your life they speculate...when they think they know...they fabricate...and when they do know...they just hate."
She uploaded another text photo on Oct. 3 on Instagram. Translated from Spanish to English, Gonzalez compared herself to a book and said the following:
"I'm not as you thought, and I'm much better than what people want to throw me down. That I have magic that I have imagination, I'm full of inspiration and full of riddles, I'm a mystery, but do not know, because I am that class of books that nobody reads."
She captioned the photo, "That type of person..."
