Farrah Abraham & Daughter in Therapy as 'Teen Mom' Star Lets Toddler ‘Do Her Own Thing’ [VIDEO, NEWS]
Even though being a young mother is what made her famous, Teen Mom alum Farrah Abraham appears to be taking a step back from parenting her toddler.
Abraham, 22, thinks spending time apart from her 4-year-old daughter Sophia is actually "healthy and normal," she reportedly told InTouch in a recent interview.
"It's healthy that we have a break," she said. "She has her own life and is doing her own thing, and I'm doing mine."
Abraham started taking her daughter to therapy not that long ago, she told OK! magazine, cited in its Oct. 7 issue. She said, "I take her to mommy and baby counseling once a month."
"I just make sure that her world is not really affected by her mom being a businesswoman who liked to travel a lot," she added.
In therapy session the pair talk about Abraham's career and her frequent absences as she travels for paid personal appearances and conventions. Sophia is urged to share her feelings and Abraham's said she "usually [says] that everything is okay. But she does share awhen her feelings get hurt."

Abraham has been busy promoting her porn career the past few months after she released a sex tape with veteran porn actor James Deen. She was reportedly paid anywhere between $10,000 to 1 million to release the video with Vivid Entertainment. She also went on to release a range of sex toys based on casts of her own body parts.
The former reality star shot to fame first on MTV's 16 & Pregnant and then the first installment of the network's Teen Mom. She also entered an outpatient program after a March DUI arrest, which resulted in a required six-months sobriety and probation, as well as a $500 fine.
Abraham is not the only Teen Mom star to run into trouble or have her parenting skills called into question. Amber Portwood, who also starred in the show's first season, will be released from an Indiana prison on Nov. 6 after serving one-year of a five-year sentence. She was charged of domestic violence charges after hitting her child's father, Gary Shirley. She completed a stint in rehab and even attempted suicide at one point.
Abraham has yet to respond to the negative attention she has received with her newest interview, instead tweeting "Party Wednesday : )))))))" and providing a link to a Keek video of her partying, which you can watch below.
