After the news had surfaced that Bruce and Kris Jenner have separated, many may assume that the former Olympian turned reality star won't have as close of a bond with stepson Rob Kardashian.

However, Kardashian, who is a sock entrepreneur, begs to differ on his assumed stance, saying the relationship between him and Bruce won't ever be downgraded.

"We're a very close family. Nothing changes," Rob told E! News on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old elaborated that he'll always be close to Bruce no matter what happens, as he spends time with him participating in various hobbies every day.

"Bruce doesn't leave my side ever. We golf every day, we race cars, we hang out with all the guys-he's my dad. He's been in my life since I was two years old, and he's going to be in my mom's life," he added.

Although Kardashian was quite confident in his dynamic with Bruce, he was also realistic when it came to addressing the fallout between his stepfather and mother.

"I don't think they can be in a happier place right now," he said.

Bruce, 63, and Kris, 57, had given Us Weekly the following info on Monday:

"We are living apart. But there is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family."
