BBC's hit show, Sherlock, continues to keep its fans guessing as to when it will return for its highly anticipated third season. However, while its loyalists wait it out, they've repeatedly taken to the web in an attempt to scour out its fine details.

Actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays the part of Sherlock, recently made an appearance on the Graham Norton Show, and briefly touched on what's to come with both his character and the program.

"I can't say an awful lot but he comes back, there's a reunion that doesn't go as planned, there's a wedding and there's a new bad guy," he said, according to the Mirror.

Comedian Jack Whitehall, a guest on Graham's couch, chimed in on the Sherlock chatter, even querying Cumberbatch on how his character survived his bogus death in season 2.

"Smoke and mirrors," he said.

Interesting to note, it's now been two years since Sherlock was last seen with new episodes on the small screen. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest information on the program.

Cumberbatch's full interview with Graham Norton is scheduled to air in the U.K. on Friday, Oct. 11 on BBC One.
