Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel debuted a new "Mean Tweets" segment on Wednesday ahead of his chat with the night's guest Kanye West on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Kimmel retained the likes of Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, Adam Levine, John Legend, John Mayer, Ke$ha, Backstreet Boys and more for the feature.
One by one each music artist read real tweets written about them by critics on Twitter.
Ahead of airing the funny clip, Kimmel announced that he would like to introduce the "music edition" of Mean Tweets in honor of his guest West.
After Gomez read out loud, "I hate when people ask why I hate @selengomez...I just do," she said nothing and remained expressionless as she looked straight into the camera.
After Lil Wayne read a tweet about him: "Lil Wayne looks like a crabapple," he asked, "What the f-k is a crabapple?"
