One Direction band member Niall Horan was caught on camera dribbling an orange soccer ball during his tour stop in Sydney, Australia, and it hitting him in the face.

The 20-year-old Irishman tried embarrassingly ended up smashing himself in the face. He tried to show off some moves on the basketball court, and in front of screaming fans. He lifted the ball up into the air before bouncing it onto the ground, but it hit a bad angle and came straight back up into his face, knocking his sunglasses off his eyes.

As the crowds laughed, a humiliated Horan then smiled at fans before and walking to a waiting car.

The incident was recorded by Ashley Bellamy and she posted the clip on YouTube on Oct. 6. The same day, 1D's Liam Payne revealed he had his underwear stolen from his Sydney hotel room, Enstars previously reported.

One Direction's new album, Midnight Memories, is available for pre-purchase ahead of its Nov. 25 release in stores. The record's complete tracklist, shown in the video below, was released in September. The band is currently on their Take Me Home world tour promoting their 2012 album of the same name.

Off their upcoming record, the track Diana leaked online on Sept. 21 and made its rounds on YouTube and Soundcloud before it was removed. Its lyrics include the following:

"Diana, Let me be the one to light a fire inside those eyes,

"You could love me, you don't even know me,
But I can feel you crying,
Diana, Let me be the one to lift your heart up and save your life,
I don't think you even realize baby you'll be saving mine.

"Diana

"It's only been four months but,
You've fallen down so far,
How could someone mislead you at all?"
