Kathy Griffin: Miley Cyrus Needs to Wear 'Less Clothing,' Jokes Billy Ray Cyrus Is 'The Offensive One'
Apparently there is one celebrity who is encouraging Miley Cyrus to keep wearing those skimpy, raunchy new outfits: comedian Kathy Griffin.
The reality star gave take on the Wrecking Ball singer's controversial 2013 MTV VMA performance -- and had plenty to say.
"I'm actually an evil aunt telling her to wear even less clothing," Kathy tells Star Observer. "I love my Miley in some rubber panties, although it seems like a recipe for an infection. I hope she has antibiotics. But I enjoy her nudity on both a stripper pole and a wrecking ball."
Griffin continued to rant, revealing she actually has a problem with Miley's father, Billy Ray Cyrus.
"It’s really Billy Ray I have the issue with, what with his mullet. He’s the offensive one!" she joked.
The outspoken redhead did get serious for a moment when discussing the recent feud between gossip blogger Perez Hilton and Lady Gaga. (In short, the blogger dissed her music; the singer fired back that he was stalking her.)
"I don’t understand it," Griffin stated "The thing about Lady Gaga-–and I don’t even know her-–is she’s such a fierce advocate of the LGBT community.
"I don’t like [Perez] pitting women against each other; that’s the oldest trick in the book," she continues. "I mean, look, I might tease Miley–-or Molly [as Kathy's mom Maggie calls her]–-but ultimately I’m always going to praise women who are successful and stand for something in this industry."
