‘Horrible Bosses 2:’ Comedy Sequel to Cast Christoph Waltz and Chris Pine As Bad Characters? [VIDEO, NEWS]
There may be some new awful employers in town when Horrible Bosses 2 arrives in theaters next year.
New reports have it likely that Oscar Winner Christoph Waltz and Star Trek hottie Chris Pine are being considered as a new father/son team of terrible bosses in the sequel to 2011's hit summer comedy.
According to Screen Rant, two-time Oscar winner Waltz may not be available for the film, but Pine is currently in talks to consider taking on the role.
The film will see the return of stars Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day, as well the writers John Francis Daley and Jonathon Goldstein. There has been no word on whether Jamie Foxx will return as the hardened criminal who gives bad advice, or if Jennifer Aniston will come back as the only boss to not end up dead or in prison at the end of the first film.
Waltz has previously made a name for himself in movies as a villain, winning an Oscar for his portrayal of Colonel Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino's 2009 hit Inglorious Basterds. In the film, Landa is also known as "The Jew-Hunter," because of his ruthless attempts to kill anyone Jewish who crosses his path. The performance won Waltz his first Oscar for Supporting Actor . After his win he went on to play evil characters again in The Green Hornet and Water for Elephants, before getting a more sympathetic role in last year's Django Unchained.
That performance won him his second Oscar.
Horrible Bosses 2 is expected to arrive in theaters in either Summer or Fall 2014.
