Some members of The Killers appear to be hitting a rough patch in their tenure with the band.

In a recent interview with NME, guitarist Dave Keuning revealed that he has had just about enough of the touring life.

"I am sick of this. I'm done. The end is in sight," the 37-year-old musician admitted. "Some people might go, 'Why are you complaining?' But you haven't done what I have done, so you can't relate. We just toured a s--tload."

Keuning isn't the only member of the alt rock band to be having problems. Bassist Mark Stoermer pulled a disappearing act during the last few weeks, missing a string of tour dates in Asia.

"I don't want to blow the top on it. Being part of this machine is physical and mentally exhausting," said drummer Ronnie Vannucci of Stoermer's absence. "I'd hope we'd keep trucking on [if Stoermer quits] But at the same time, it isn't the same band."

Unlike Keuning, Stoermer did give fans a ray of hope via Twitter, writing that he is "looking forward to returning" to the group after he spends some time back home.

How long will The Killers hold together? The upcoming release of Direct Hits, a compilation album with the new sings Just Another Girl and Shot at the Night, hints a another round of touring for the Mr. Brightside group. However, frontman Brandon Flowers claims that the upcoming year will be quiet.

"I'm excited about going home," Flowers said when announcing his plans to record a solo album for release in 2015, according to NME. "I'm looking forward to having a normal year."

Direct Hits will hit stores on Nov. 11.
