Jon Bon Jovi walked a fan down the aisle to give her away at her wedding after she started an online petition requesting his presence on her big day.

Australian Branka Delic, 34, set up a campaign two months ago hoping to get the rock star to attend her wedding. She was scheduled to marry dog groomer Gonzalo Cladera in Las Vegas, on Oct. 12. Bon Jovi was scheduled to perform in the city the same evening as part of the worldwide Because We Can tour, so the singer decided to surprise one of his biggest fans.

The wedding took place at the Graceland Wedding Chapel, which is the same place Bon Jovi got married in 1989.

The 51-year-old tweeted on Oct. 12 a photo of him walking Delic down the aisle and gave the couple warm wishes in the caption: "Congratulations @branksd! May you & Gonzalo have a lifetime of happiness, love & memories together - ALWAYS!"

Responding to the tweet, Delic thanked Bon Jovi, saying, "You did more than make my dream come true, you changed my life forever! An amazing man with an amazing generous heart."

"I have memories for life which I'll never forget. Such an amazing man to take time from his schedule to come walk this crazy Aussie down the aisle ... Jon ..... I salute!" Delic told the Sydney Morning Herald.

She added that her husband is supportive of Delic's love for Bon Jovi. Cladera "thinks it is all quite funny ... He's given me a leave pass if I meet him. I'm allowed one kiss. He's just hoping to bump into Jessica Alba so he can do the same," she told a local newspaper.

Bon Jovi will perform on Oct. 15 in San Antonia, Texas His tour will conclude on Dec. 17 in Brisbane, Australia.
