A new frontrunner in the Fifty Shades of Grey sweepstakes amid Charlie Hunnam's departure has apparently emerged in Jamie Dornan of the U.K.'s The Fall television series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former Calvin Klein model is being seriously considered as a possible replacement for Hunnam.

With his well-defined abs and mesmerizing eyes, Dornan, 31, undoubtedly has the physical attributes to pull of the part of the S&M-crazed CEO.

While the Irish actor currently plays a serial killer on The Fall and also donned the role of the Huntsman in Once Upon A Time, Hollywood Life writes that there's "no doubt that he would make a seamless transfer to the big screen."

In other Fifty Shades happenings, Twilight's Robert Pattinson is reportedly dead-set on avoiding the Grey role, as a source close to him informed the entertainment site that "He wants his career to go in a completely different route. Add that to the fact that he is not the number one pick from the producers, its just not happening."

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie is set to hit the big screen on Aug. 1, 2014. Be sure to keep checking back for more Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele casting chatter. Dornan can be checked out below.
