Timbaland Wife Monique Mosley Files for Divorce After 5 Years of Marriage; Wants Alimony & Money for Both Kids
Music producer Timbaland and wife Monique Mosley are in the process of ending their marriage after she filed for divorce papers and requested a large sum of money from her soon-to-be ex-husband.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Mosley and Timbaland have been married for 5 years, but were dating for many years. In addition to their 5-year-old daughter, Reign they have together, Mosley also has a 10-year-old outside the marriage.
Not only does Mosley want money for the daughter they share, she also wants money for her own child because she feels that Timbaland has been the father since he "publicly and privately proclaimed this child as his own."
She is also demanding alimony, life insurance, money for private school and summer camp for the kids, vacations and other expenses.
Mosley also claimed that she had to scrap up cash-- so much that she was forced to borrow money from a friend to pay her lawyer. Now, she is requesting that Timbaland - who's worth around $80 mil - to take care of the lawyer's bill.
Timbaland, 41, is one of the biggest producers in music. He has worked with names including, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Missy Elliot, Ginuwine, Ludacris and Jay Z. Currently, he's on the road performing with Jay for his Magna Carta Holy Grail tour. He also has two sons, Demetrius and Frankie from a previous relationship.
