Kesha New Song 'First Love' AUDIO, 'Crazy Kids' Singer Talks About Past Relationship
A new Kesha song surfaced on Wednesday called First Love. On the tune, the 26-year-old shows off a softer side as she reminisces about an old love.
"I've been slipping. I've been trying to pretend there's nothing missing and when I'm with somebody else, it's you I'm wishing that I was kissing. But you're just a ghost and nothing comes close," she sings.
On the chorus she belts: "I found you once, won't find you again. You were the first, you were my best friend. I didn't think it ever could end. You were my first love... I was so young, I didn't think twice. I fell so hard took no one's advice."
The song is reportedly a demo from Kesha's 2010 Cannibal recordings, according to MTV. That album also features The Harold Song, which is similar to the sound of First Love. On The Harold Song, the star also talks about an ex-boyfriend and sings, "I miss your soft lips, I miss your white sheets, I miss the scratch of your unshaved face on my cheek. And this is so hard cause I didn't see, that you were the love of my life and it kills me."
New Beyonce Music Coming This December?
However, Kesha doesn't always write positive songs about her past relationships. In fact, some of her upcoming music will be the complete opposite. In a September interview with MTV, the singer spoke about a new song she wrote titled U Suck A--. The track is dedicated to her ex-boyfriend, whom she said she no longer speaks to.
"I recently had this boy just be a total piece of sh--, piece of garbage," she said. "He's just a lying sack of sh--... And he sucks real bad, so I'm writing about that."
