Passengers on a recent flight from New York to New Orleans got a little surprise when they witnessed actor Ryan Reynolds strip down right in front of them.

According to RadarOnline.com, Reynolds had no other choice to take off his shirt on a Delta flight Sunday evening when another passenger puked all over him. The actor and wife, Blake Lively flew out of New York's Laguardia Airport to New Orleans, where he will be filming a new movie, "Selfless" with Sir. Ben Kingsley.

An eyewitness who was on board said that Reynolds was seated in seat 2D at the window when a sick passenger started throwing up on his shirt.

"About two-thirds of the way into the flight, a young lady in front of him in 1D vomited toward her window, which then spewed back all over Ryan's beige cashmere sweater. She had clearly had too much to drink, causing her to be sick," the source said."The vomit looked like it was largely made up of red wine, and it made a huge stain on Ryan's sweater...so he took it off!"

The source added that the flight attendants gave him napkins to try and wipe off the vomit, but they started laughing to themselves.

Luckily for Reynolds, he managed to find a cleaner shirt by the time they landed and was escorted off the plane by a member of airport of security in New Orleans.

"They tried to pretend like nothing happened," the source explained. "The vomiting was quiet, and I think they were all going to try to just hide what happened, but the smell was rancid! Also, you couldn't help but notice Ryan taking off his shirt!"
