John Travolta Lawsuit: Flight Records Contradict Masseur's Claims
Flight records show that John Travolta was in New York on January 16, contrary to a masseur's accusation that Travolta sexually assaulted him that day at a Beverly Hills hotel.
Records obtained by celebrities' site TMZ.com show that Travolta departed Los Angeles the evening of January 15 and landed in Westchester County N.Y. at 3:59 a.m. on January 16.
After landing, Travolta checked into the Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca and attended wardrobe fittings for his movie "Killing Season," according to the site.
A male masseur filed a $2 million lawsuit against Travolta accusing him of sexual assault during a massage in January 16 inside a room at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Reuters reported Tuesday.
A second masseur joined the lawsuit claiming the actor assaulted him at an unspecified resort in Atlanta, Georgia on January 28.
Travolta denied the accusations through his spokesman.
"On the date when plaintiff claims John met him, John was not in California and it can be proved that he was on the East Coast," a spokesman for Travolta said in a statement.
"John intends to get this case thrown out and then he will sue the attorney and plaintiff for malicious prosecution."
The masseur's lawyer Okorie Okorocha says the assault on the first masseur occured the morning of January 16.
