Katy Perry, John Mayer Dating News: Couple Gets Dressed Up for Dinner Date
Katy Perry and John Mayer were seen enjoying a date night together in London on Friday, Oct. 19, E! Online reported.
The two singers have been busy with their careers but they make sure that their relationship doesn't suffer. Perry has been working hard in promoting her third album Prism while Mayer is on the European leg of his latest tour. Mayer flew in from Norway to be reunited with his girlfriend and Perry made sure that his trip would be worthwhile as she dressed up for their romantic dinner.
The pop singer was dressed in a demure pink dress and accessorized with a pink Chanel bag and purple velvet shoes. Her black hair was loose. Mayer was looking handsome in a suit and tie. The two clearly dressed up for their dinner at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in Battersea. The couple enjoyed a seven course meal, costing £180 each, then headed back to Claridge's hotel.

The dinner was perhaps a post-celebration of Mayer's birthday on Wednesday, Oct. 16, where Perry sent a birthday greeting via Twitter as Mayer was in Denmark at that time.
"Happy birthday cutie!!! @JohnMayer," the singer tweeted.
It was also recently reported that the two are very serious with each other and that Mayer will propose to Perry any day now. 'Everyone knows it's just a question of when John will propose,' one of the musician's friend told Us Weekly.
It seems that they are doing great as a couple. Perry revealed to Entertainment Weekly that her song Unconditionally was inspired by Mayer.
"I went to Madagascar and did a UNICEF trip that changed my life and gave me this song. It's just a simple message about loving someone and accepting them and kind of driving at you don't have to be so self-conscious, you don't have to fear, because essentially, everybody has their stuff. Nobody comes stuff-free. Everybody has their things and you're never going to be perfect, and accepting that and understanding that, especially in a relationship, it makes room for a real, genuine kind of love," she said.
