'X Factor' Judge Demi Lovato 'Warrior' VIDEO, 'Heart Attack' Singer Performs Song For First Time
Demi Lovato performed a heartfelt rendition of her song Warrior at the Red Light Traffic Dignity Gala on Saturday. It was also the first time she sang the track live.
At the event, The X Factor judge took the stage in all black ensemble paired with bright red lipstick. She passionately sang the lyrics with a piano accompaniment.
"There's a part of me I can't get back. A little girl grew up too fast. All it took was once, I'll never be the same. Now I'm taking back my life today," she sang.

The tune talks about a personal experience the singer endured in the past. However, she has yet to speak publicly about the issue. In the August issue of Cosmopolitan, the 21-year-old explained her reasoning.
"My family knows what it's about," she told the magazine. "When I'm ready to open up that subject with the outside world, then I'll be free to talk about it. But right now, it's kind of one of those things where the lyrics speak for me. It's all in the song."

The song appears on Lovato's fourth studio album Demi, which she released in May. In celebration of the record's release and Warrior, Lovato received a special tattoo. The ink is located on her left shoulder and reads, "now I'm a warrior."
"It's really heavy, the lyrics, but it's an inspirational song as well," she said on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in May. "It was kind of like a tribute to releasing an album, as well as overcoming some really, really difficult things in my life."
