Taylor Swift released a new song called Sweeter Than Fiction, which hit iTunes at midnight Monday.

The song was co-written with fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff and in upbeat track Swift sings about how great it is to be in love.

"Hit the ground/only sound that you hear is no/ you never saw it coming/except when you started running/and now you come undone," she opens the song with.

Sweeter Than Fiction is slated for the soundtrack of the upcoming British film One Chance, due out Oct. 25 in the United Kingdom, according to Billboard. Directed by David Frankel and produced by Simon Cowell, it follows Paul Potts, who went from working as a store clerk to winning Britian's Got Talent. Swift's song will run during the film's closing credits.

"There you stand 10 feet tall/I will say 'I knew it all along'/ Your eyes are wider than distance/This life is sweeter than fiction," she sings in the chorus.

Swift has been writing new material for her upcoming album over the past six months while on her Red Tour, she admitted in June. The 23-year-old reassured fans her next album will be unique, and said she embraces change and taking risks as she furthers her music career.

"You need to challenge yourself, you need to change up your influences. I think you need to be inspired by different things than you were inspired by before and it's harder to call up people you don't know and work with them for the first time," she said at the time. "And it's hard to think of topics you haven't covered and think of new ways to say old emotions that everyone feels. But that's the goal at this point."

In October she promised fans that her follow-up to her quadruple-platinum album Red will highlight a different side of her and be a change from her past records.
