Kerry Washington's 'Scandal' Season 3 Guest Lisa Kudrow: 'Friends' Star In Episode 4, VIDEO Spoiler
Lisa Kudrow will make her debut on Scandal on Thursday's episode.
The Friends alum will play Democratic Congresswoman Josephine Marcus in the upcoming episode titled, Say Hello to My Little Friend.
According to the sneak peek below, Kudrow's character will challenge the president in the Shonda Rhimes-created political drama.
"I don't think there is a matter on the president showing his leadership on the issue," Marcus says on television as Fitz and his wife, First Lady Mellie, watch.
"[At] this point I'm more interested in him not showing certain things. I think it's high time the man tames his cobra and keeps a lid on the basket," she adds. "So our country can focus on... education, keeping jobs here at home."
While First Lady Mellie appears visibly concerned about Marcus' comments, which referenced her husband's public infidelities, the Republican president calmly jokes about them.
"Tame my cobra, not bad," he quips.
Actors Patrick Fabian (Castle, Criminal Minds, Desperate Housewives) will also appear in the episode as scandalous Senator Richard Meyers and Melora Hardin (The Office, Mon, CS: Miami) will play his wife Shelley Meyers.

The script for episode 4 was likely inspired by the real-life story of New York City's disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner. The married father-of-one who resigned from Congress in 2011 amid a Twitter sexting scandal, reportedly had another explicit relationship after he stepped down. Sydney Leathers, his sexting partner, shared their exchanges as he was preparing to run for New York City Mayor, according to The Dirty.com.
The new episode of Scandal will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
