Former Jersey Shore star Pauly D is now a father.

"I'm proud I'm a father," the 33-year-old told TMZ in a Tuesday report. "I am excited to embark on this new part of my life."

TMZ also reported that the mother of his child is a 26-year-old New Jersey native, whom Pauly met in Las Vegas in 2012. Their baby is only a few months old.

The DJ retweeted a series of congratulatory messages on his Twitter account.

"Excited for my dear @DJPaulyD who is going to be an amazing father! Proud of you :) xoxo Auntie Amanda," read one.

"Shout out my bro @DJPaulyD !!!!!!! Congratulations on new addition," read another.

He isn't the only Jersey Shore star who proudly talks about parenthood. His former co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi previously told EnStars that being a mom to baby Lorenzo is "amazing." Polizzi and her fiancé Jionni LaValle welcomed the baby boy on Aug. 26, 2012.

"It made me grow up and I feel I'm such a better person now," she said during SELF Magazine's Rock The Summer event in New York City in July. "I'm just a mature and nicer person."
