'Grimm' Season 3 Premiere: Nick Adjusts to Zombie Life & Who is the Father of Adalind's Baby? [VIDEO]
With the season 3 premiere of Grimm just days away, NBC has released a new promo video previewing the episode.
The episode, titled The Ungrateful Dead, will feature Nick (David Giuntoli) living life as a zombie after being infected in the season 2 finale. Fans can expect the season 3 premiere to feel like a feature-length film, according to Bitsie Tulloch, who plays Juliette on the series.
"Nick will do a lot of damage and he'll be forever changed as result of this. Giuntoli noted in late September. "There's going to be a lot of zombie residue! It's like the Royal Families want him to recruit and control whole armies of Wesen."
Meanwhile, Adalind will be "hellbent on getting her powers back," according to the character's portrayer Claire Coffee. Adalind will also be dealing with her pregnancy, and the identity of the baby's father will be an ongoing mystery.
Sasha Roiz, who plays Sean Renard, noted that "whoever has the baby is going to control a great deal of power."
Additionally, Juliette and Renard will be sharing more screen time now that the former is aware of Grimms, but fans shouldn't expect too much romance between them. Though the pair hooked up in season 2, they won't be addressing their relationship overtly.
"Sasha [Roiz] and I have chosen to play it in a certain way where there is a subtle acknowledgement when those two characters are in a scene together, but [it's] nothing blatant," Tulloch told TVLine in a Tuesday report. "They're not really addressing it."
