Rihanna broke yet another record on her Diamonds World Tour after performing Tuesday night the biggest show ever seen in Tel Aviv, Israel, by a female.

The 25-year-old, who approaches the end of her 97-date tour, took to the stage at the Hayarkon Park stadium in front of 52,000 people and performed tracks from her latest album, Unapologetic. GTA, a deejay duo from Miami, opened the concert.

The Stay singer came on stage wearing a sheer black caftan that she then removed, revealing a black crop top, a short, wrap-around skirt, a black and silver crown and heels. After two songs she called out to the audience, "Tel Aviv! It's been too long since I've been here, and you guys had to wait longer than usual and for that I apologize," according to The Times of Israel.

"Thank you Tel Aviv!" she added. "You know I love my friends all over the world, but it's been too long since I've been back here in Tel Aviv."

Rihanna reportedly started the show more than two hours late and took a political tone with some of her lyrics, according to Israel's Haaretz. The Barbados native changed the words of her song Pour It Up from "All I see is signs / All I see is dollar signs" to "All I see is Palestine."

After the concert she tweeted, "#TelAviv THANK YOU for making tonight so big for me! We sold out, and became biggest female show in histoRIH to play in your home!!" She also uploaded the below photo highlighting the crowd at her sold-out concert.

Rihanna's Tuesday performance followed the controversy she stirred earlier in the month in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, where she was accused of posing in "improper" ways for "inappropriate" pictures in a mosque.

The We Found Love singer is on break for a few days before resuming the final leg of her tour in the Dominican Republic on Oct. 26. Her last few shows will be in Barbados, Houston and New Orleans. Earlier in October she became the youngest female artist to perform at stadiums in both Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa.
