Eva Longoria debuted her short film Out of the Blue at Canon's Project Imagination Film Festival on Thursday and admitted that she found the assignment a bit challenging.

"It was hard to really be inspired by still photos and create this whole story and shoot this amazing film," she said at the event. "Creatively you are really limited on the story and so that was a lot of fun to try and navigate that."

Despite her difficulty, the Devious Maids producer put together the event's only action film, which she deemed "quite ambitious."

The 38-year-old also stars in the flick as a tough woman who fights her way through several unique challenges to stop an antagonist, played by actor Amaury Nolasco. One of these tricky situations includes a physical altercation with a blonde-haired enemy.

The Canon event showcased the work of four more famous faces, including Jamie Foxx, Georgina Chapman, the founder of the LCD Soundsystem James Murphy and Twitter's co-founder Biz Stone, who each based their film on user-generated photos.
