'Snooki and JWoww' Season 3 News: Reviews Attack the Former 'Jersey Shore' Stars & Friends
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWOWW" Farley are back on MTV but not many are thrilled about their return.
In season 3 of Snooki and JWOWW, Snooki and her fiancé Jionni LaValle move in to a summer house with their 14-month-old son Lorenzo just minutes from where JWOWW and her fiancé Roger Mathews are living.
The new season premiered Oct. 22 on MTV and many have already slammed the reality show.
"Snooki and JWOWW play the same characters as ever, and you have to admire the way they've extended their fame. But the show may be missing its potentially most interesting drama," New York Daily News. "[Snooki] markets her brand all over, getting big bucks just to show up. So why, you have to ask, are she and Jionni living in that basement? Suggestion for better spinoff: 'Snooki Gets a Financial Adviser.' It wouldn't be any less dramatic than this one."
The show premiered in June 2012 and from the start critics were harsh, with Snooki taking the brute of the criticism.
"The show is horrible, but Snooki is a classic product of reality TV, a fully crystalized and probably unalterable personality. She's a character actress without being an actress," People wrote at the time. "I expect great things of Snooki. Just not of her work."
MTV renewed "Snooki & JWOWW" for a third season in April, according to The Wrap. Its second season ranked as the most-watched show in its time slot among the network's key demographic, persons ages 12-34. It earned an average 2.2 rating in that key demo and 2.4 million total viewers per episode, according to the website.
Snooki and JWOWW airs Tuesdays on MTV at 10/9c.
