"I would have liked to have my family involved as far as input on Lisa's side. Her perspective of how things went down...I was able to go to the set one time and I did see Lil Mama playing Lisa and she surprised me," she said. "We live in Atlanta, the movie [was] being shot in Atlanta, everyone we know is in the movie except for us. Lisa's family was the only people not involved in the movie and not invited to the set.

"It was just weird and an uncomfortable feeling. My brother, mother and me we feel the same way about not being involved. It's just like, why not?"

Reigndrop was initially told her family was not invited to walk the red carpet for the film's premiere. It wasn't until workers from LaFace Records spotted her behind the barricade that she was allowed to walk in front of photographers.

She also saidshe felt there were several scenes in the movie where her sister was misrepresented.

"It's a movie. It's never gonna be 100 percent accurate and I know this, my family knows this...It's about a person's character," she said. "[When] they were doing the Creep video...they have Lisa putting black tape over her mouth because she can't get her way. Now, she did put black tape over her mouth but it wasn't because she couldn't get her way. It was because she didn't believe in the message behind the Creep video. She didn't believe in telling people to cheat on their mates."
