Jonas Brothers Break Up Confirmed, Split Band Says 'It Was a Unanimous Decision' [PHOTOS]
The Jonas Brothers are officially disbanding, the pop stars announced on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
The news came less than three weeks after Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas canceled their fall tour due to "a deep rift within the band."
"It's over for now," said 25-year-old Kevin, who is expecting his first child with his wife, Danielle Jonas. Drummer and vocalist Nick, 21, gave similar sentiments: "It's really hard to say 'forever.' We're closing a chapter, for sure."

The group decided to split on Oct. 3 when Nick shared some serious concerns about their future.
"I was feeling kind of trapped," he told People. "I needed to share my heart with my brothers."
According to Joe, they all felt it was time to call it quits. The 24-year-old solo singer explained, "It was a unanimous decision."
The Jonas Brothers signed to Hollywood Records in 2005 and sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. They starred in two Camp Rock movies and headlined their own Disney Channel show. Nick formed his own blues rock band in 2009 called Nick Jonas and the Administration.
The New Jersey-born stars gave fans some hope that they might reconcile.
"Please hold while we get our s--t together," Joe tweeted Oct. 22. Nick added, "Bear with us."
