Hilary Duff's New Album in the Works, PHOTOS of the Former Disney Star Then and Now Works
Buzz has stirred about Hilary Duff's new album ever since she tweeted the above photo on Sept. 24 of her in a recording studio in West Hollywood.
The 26-year-old actress and singer's last album, Dignity, was released in 2007. Duff talked about her next album, which has yet to have an official release date, and its sound in a Twitter Q&A.
"I'm exploring a lot of cool options and I don't want to give a timeline yet, but I promise exciting stuff is coming," she said. "I'm super into EDM. Definitely catchy hooks. I've always cared a lot abt lyrics & love to dance!"
Duff is now focusing on reviving her music career but she is known as an actress as well, starting off with roles when she was barely a teen. The former Disney star had the lead role in 1998's When Casper Meets Wendy. She then went on to star in Disney movies and kid-friendly motion pictures, including Cadet Kelly (2002), Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) and its 2005 sequel, The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003) and Agent Cody Banks (2003).
She also co-starred with her sister in Material Girls (2006).
Duff's musical achievements began with her debut album Metamorphosis (2003) and she released one record every year from 2004-2008.
