Raven Symone Twitter Rant On Being Gay, Engaged & Getting Married Rumors
Raven Symone reportedly wrote a Twitter rant that addressed her sexuality and relationship rumors months after she came out on Twitter.
After she voiced her approval of gay marriage in the United States on Aug. 2, the actress made headlines and was rumored to be dating, engaged and married.
Symone reportedly expressed her frustration in a series of tweets that have been deleted, however, the gossip blog which she called out in her Twitter rant published the messages.
According to MediaTakeout Symone wrote, "I AM NOT NOW AND WAS NEVER ENGAGED, OR IN A LOVE TRIANGLE WITH ANYONE IN THE INDUSTRY. YES I HAVE DATED PLENTY OF PEOPLE, IM NOT A NEWT, HOWEVER, I NEVER TELL. THE RINGS THAT I WEAR ON MY "RING FINGERS" ARE A GIFT TO MYSELF WHEN THATS SO RAVEN HIT 400 MILLION VIEWERS. I THINK THAT IS WELL DESERVED."
She called out the urban gossip blog for reporting about her love life when she wrote, "MEDIA TAKE OUT IS FUNNY, THEY GET THEIR INFO LIKE THE TELEPHONE GAME.... SOMEONE TELLS THE TRUTH, AND BY THE TIME THE STORY IS TOLD TO THEM, JUST THE NAMES HAVE STAYED THE SAME, BUT THE STORY IS MUCH JUICIER. AND NOT TRUE."
She then debunked the claim that she is dating former Britain's Top Model contestant AzMarie Livingston.
"ME DATING A GIRL: EVEN THO I ADORE MY GAY AND LESBIAN COMMUNITY!!!!!! I HANG AND CHILL WITH THEM, AND ADMIRE THEIR FIERCE-NESS. AND LEARN FROM THEM EVERYDAY. I HAVE THIS TO SAY... 1) ITS FALSE THAT IM DATING A GIRL RIGHT NOW."
She also wrote that it is "rude" for media to question her sexuality and personal life.

ITS NOT A FAD FOR THEM, ITS NOT THE NEXT COOL BAG FOR THEM, ITS WHO THEY ARE, AND I THINK THAT FALSLY ACCUSING SOMEONE, WATERS DOWN THE IMPORTANCE OF ACTUALLY SAYING YES TO GAY WEDLOCK, AND OTHER RIGHTS FOR THAT MOST AMAZING COMMUNITY.
Symone came out about her sexuality on Aug. 2 when she thanked the government's stance on gay marriage. She referred to the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act in June. The former Cosby Show star wrote on Twitter, "I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you."
National Enquirer also reported in May of last year that the star is dating Britain's Top Model contestant AzMarie Livingston. A family insider told the newspaper that Livingston moved in to Symone's Manhattan home in the summer of 2012 despite disapproval from the actress' family.
The pair stepped out together as a couple for the first time ever during Gay Pride in Atlanta during Labor Day weekend.
