Shows Coming in 2012 on ABC: Which TV Series were Renewed?
ABC announced new series for the 2012-2013 season including six dramas and four comedies as the company seeks growth and continuing momentum.
The new series for the 2012-13 season were announced at the network's Upfront Presentation in New York City on Tuesday. They are “666 Park Avenue,” “The Family Tools,” “How to Live with your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life),” “Last Resort,” “Malibu Country,” “Mistresses,” “Nashville,” “The Neighbors,” “Red Widow” and “Zero Hour.”
ABC renewed 20 series including reality favorites such as: “The Bachelor,” “Dancing with the Stars,” and “Shark Tank.” The dancing competition will get an "All Star" edition.
Also returning are favorites “Modern Family,” “Grey’s Anatomy,”
“Private Practice,” and “Last Man Standing.”
“America’s Funniest Home Videos,” “Body of Proof,” “Castle,” “Don’t Trust the B--- in Apartment 23,” “Happy Endings,” “The Middle,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Primetime: What Would You Do?,” “Revenge,” “Scandal,” “Suburgatory,” “20/20” and “Wife Swap” were renewed.

DRAMAS
"666 Park Avenue" about supernatural forces within a building in New York City that endagers the lives of its residents.
"Last Resort" about a military crew living in a submarine 500 feet beneath the ocean's surface.
"Mistresses" set to debut in mid-fall is a drama about the lives of a sexy and sassy group of four girlfriends starring Alyssa Milano.
"Nashville" about a country star and her struggle for popularity.
"Red Widow" set for release in midseason, follows the life of the widow of a drug trafficker as she tries to unveil the truth about her husband's brutal death.
"Zero Hour" to kick off mid-fall is about a publisher trying to decipher a treasure map that could be cataclysmic at the same time as he seels for his kidnapped wife.
COMEDY SERIES
"The Family Tools" is based on the UK series "White Van Man" and is about a young man who needs to take care of his father's business while everyone in his family expect his failure.
"How to Live with Your Parents (For The Rest of Your Life)" is about a single mom and her daughter moving back to her parents' home and trying to get a social life.
"Malibu Country" is about a country star wannabe and her children that move to Malibu and how she tries to pursue a music career.
"The Neighbors" is about a family that moves to a New Jersey neigborhood and discover their neighbors are aliens disguised as humans.
