Troubled reality star and NBA player Lamar Odom is cleared from criminal prosecution stemming from his attack on two camermen's equipment-- under the condition that he undergoes anger management, TMZ reported.

The ruling came Monday as a result of an incident in which Odom threw the two photographer's equipment out of their car and into the street. He won't be facing any vandalism charges as long as he pays for the photographers' items. But if he breaks the law within a year of the incident, which occurred on July 11, the ruling will be reversed and he'll be hit with charges.

Video of Odom's attack went viral and shows the former Dallas Mavericks player grabbing the camera equipment from the back of the photographer's car and chucking it on a street filled with cars passing by.

Next he walked across the street and hit another photographer's car with a metal bar. He went on to pick up all the equipment he tossed in the street and put it in his car before took off. But not before having a friendly interaction with a fan.

While he's in the clear with criminal prosecution, his family life could still be on the rocks.

In an article published Tuesday (Oct. 5) an insider revealed that Odom wants his 15-year-old daughter to be nothing like his little sister-in-law, Kendall Jenner. A source told Hollywood Life, "He wouldn't let Destiny be out there, twerking and doing all that stuff. That's just him and how he was raised and how [he] raises his own daughter. No disrespect whatsoever to Kendall...She can't help it."
