TLC Movie 2013: Pebbles' Daughter Ashley Reid Claims Chilli Had Affair With LA Reid, She 'Won't Call Her a Whore Anymore'
Ashley Reid, the daughter of TLC's former manager Pebbles Reid, took her Reid All About It radio show to slam the CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story biopic.
She joins her mother and the sister of Lisa "Lefteye" Lopes (Reigndrop Lopes) in bashing Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Chilli as well as the biopic with claims that most of it was a lie and even claims Chilli had an affair with her father.
"I won't call her a whore anymore....[But] [T-Boz and Chilli] know what the lied about...They used mostly our family, mostly mom as a pawn for publicity to drive the whole entire film and she was actually in the majority of it. As the devil, as the super villain..."
While the VH1 original movie blames Pebbles and TLC's record company LAFace for the group's money woes, Ashley named a number of other artists signed to the label who didn't have those issues.

"Usher didn't have money problems. Outkast didn't have money problems....[Filing for bankruptcy] didn't mean that [TLC] was broke, it meant they had too many debts they had to pay. Did they handle their money properly? No...Were they treated like they were slaves that my family pulled from Africa and put on a planation at LAFace Records? No."
Her statements come shortly after Ashley threatened Chilli on Twitter the night the movie premiered (Oct. 21).
She wrote, "The lies continue...When will people realize that a movie is a MOVIE? Not truth. This is not a true story. It's meant to entertain...[Chilli] I cannot WAIT to see you around honey!"
Ashley addressed the treat in the video and said, "When I said on Twitter, Chilli I can't wait to see you what I meant by that was I can't wait to see you to beat your face into the concrete."
As for her mom, she is planning to file a defamation lawsuit for how she was portrayed in the movie. In the meantime, Ashley said Pebbles wants her to stop threatening people but still appreciates her daughter for defending her.
