Anne Hathaway's brother reportedly spilled the news that the Oscar winner is expecting her first child.

Tom Hathaway, a comedian, reportedly revealed she is with child while performing a routine comedy act in Brooklyn, N.Y. last week. An audience member shared the news with Star.

"Tom opened his act by talking about Anne's personal life," the eyewitness told Star. "He said, 'My sister got married last year, and now she is about to be a new mom!' I don't think he realized what he had done."

Another "insider" told the magazine that "Anne is over the moon, and Adam is extremely giddy."

Star's report also cited Anne's previous interview where she shared her plans to start a family one day.

"I've wanted to be a mom since I was 16," Anne allegedly said. "I'll start with one healthy kid, but I'd like to have a few naturally and adopt. I'd like as many as I can afford."

Anne's rep, however, debunked the claim that the Les Miserables actress is pregnant.

"She is not pregnant," Anne's publicist told Gossip Cop. The rep also said his joke was taken out of context, and her brother meant that "one day his sister would be pregnant and then he would be uncle Tom."

Hathaway married jewelry designer and actor Adam Shulman after a one year engagement on Saturday, Sept. 29. The couple wed at a private residence in Big Sur on the California coast.

When the news came out on Sept. 30, many spoke about Hathaway's custom wedding and veil designed for her by Valentino. Shulman wore a traditional tuxedo to complement the bride's lovely look. The marriage is the first for both actors.
