Michael Vick Wedding: Eagles Quarterback To Tie the Knot in Miami
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will finally marry Kijafa Frink on June 30 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The couple has been engaged since December 2009 and have three children together. The pair even filmed a reality show with BET, featuring their children Mitez, Jada, and London.
A representative of the couple confirmed the good news, and word is that invitations for the event have already gone out to 300 guests. The guests for the small ceremony include Tony Dungy, Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid, Vick's agent Joel Segal, and teammate LeSean McCoy.
Last year, the quarterback signed a six-year deal with the Eagles reportedly worth $100million of which $40 million is guaranteed.
Vick had previously spent time in federal prison for 18 months after being convicted of dog-fighting. He had said to reporters at that time, "I want to apologize to the court, my family, and to all the kids who looked up to me as a role model". Frink had stayed by his side during this difficult time for Vick.
"At times, it's hard to talk about it, but for the most part, if you talk about it and let it all out, it kind of helps put the demons to rest," Vick said, according to ESPN.
