Celebrities have reacted on Twitter about the news of the Queen of Disco Donna Summer. DuranDuran, who took inspiration from her music, wrote: "So sad to hear about the passing of Donna Summer. Our condolences."

Timbaland tweeted: "this cant be tru. i cant believe this RIP Donna Summer. at a lost 4words."
Many celebrities reminisced how they would dance and sing along to Summer's songs. "I remember sitting in the front seat of my mom's toyota while she sang Donna Summer's 'she works hard for the money' songs were just classic," said Ryan Seacrest.

"R.I.P Donna Summer...I remember roller skating to hits like "Last Dance'" "Hot Stuff" & "Bad Girls." Synonymous with the 70′s.. #QueenOfDisco," said Mario Lopez.

Summer passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer. The 63-year-old singer was in Florida at the time of her death, reports TMZ. The singer had reportedly kept her battle with cancer quiet and had even been working on an album just before her death.
Summer won five Grammy awards and shot to popularity in the late '70s and early '80s with hits "Last Dance," "Bad Girls", and "She Works Hard For The Money." Her music influenced musical legend David Bowie and Duran Duran.
