Two famous Jennifer's - Aniston and Lawrence - recently cut off their long locks for shorter hairstyles and although they are quite different in length, Enstars poses the question: who looks better with short hair?
Jennifer Lawrence has been playful with her pixie cut, which she debuted Nov. 7 in an Instagram photo. The actress went for a slicked-back look at the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in London Nov. 11. She kept her hair out of her face and resembled the hairstyle Miley Cyrus wore to the 2013 Billboard Music Awards in May.
Jennifer Aniston's bob haircut is more reminiscent of the hairstyle she had when playing Rachel Green on the television series Friends. She got the cut from hairstylist Chris McMillan, who revealed the actress' cut in an Instagram photo Nov. 9. Aniston made her first public appearance with the dramatic cut as she stepped out for an appointment in Los Angeles on Nov. 4.
McMillan, who gave his longtime client the cut on Oct. 30, spoke to E! News about why Aniston suddenly wanted to change her signature hairstyle.
"It was a spontaneous decision," Living Proof's celebrity stylist said. "Jen just wanted a change every so often like every other girl and this style was one that suited her."
Her latest cut is the first time Lawrence has sported short hair since the start of her career, while Aniston has played around with her hair length many times. The Horrible Bosses 2 star had bob haircuts in 2001 and 2011. This time, Aniston went for a edgier look.
"The cut is a piecey A-Line bob," McMillan revealed. "It is choppy but with no hard edges. We are calling it the un-precious bob."
